About the event
On October 29, 2025, Central Florida HIDTA will host CI Management, a full-day training led by experienced narcotics agent and instructor Rafael Baez. Designed for law enforcement officers, detectives, and supervisors, this course provides practical instruction on safely, ethically, and effectively working with confidential informants. Topics include legal and policy compliance, recruitment and vetting, safety and risk mitigation, control and supervision, documentation, ethics, and scenario-based training. Participants will leave with the tools to reduce liability, protect investigations, and strengthen case outcomes.
