About the event
Central Florida HIDTA invites law enforcement officers to a dynamic, one-day training on June 2, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM at 610 Crescent Executive Ct, Suite 300, Lake Mary, Florida. Led by Agent Rafael Baez—who brings over 15 years of law enforcement experience and more than 12 years as a Narcotics Agent—this course focuses on surveillance as a critical investigative tool. Participants will receive foundational knowledge along with hands-on experience through realistic, scenario-based exercises designed to mimic the challenges of tracking complex criminal organizations.
Training topics include mobile surveillance by foot and vehicle, operational planning for safety, and the documentation of surveillance activities. Officers are encouraged to bring an unmarked vehicle, earbuds or AirPods, binoculars, and a camera (if available). This training is ideal for those looking to enhance their confidence and effectiveness in the field through real-world applications.
